The IoT involves the use of millions of data points each of which needs to be secured. A single vulnerability in any one of the devices can result in a massive compromise of security. It is also an acceptable circumstance where a contingency (virus) is spread across the network resulting in a long disease impacting the data and security of the connected devices. Developers need to strategic the methodology of handling such circumstances, which is hard to do in a complex mesh of heterogeneous devices.

Internet of Things (IoT) enabled sensor have experienced explosive growth during the last few years. Using sensor, IoT deployment makes it possible for large-scale and vast physical infrastructure consisting of homes, vehicle, health devices, and other varied devices to be tightly integrated with information and communication technology.  A report from Entrepreneur implies that today, 70% of IoT devices on the market are vulnerable out of the box.

Security become a major concern in IoT-enabled sensor, not only due to the underlying limitation of the sensor nodes such as limited energy, weak processing capabilities, limited memory and their physical exposure to malicious entities. A network of embedded systems can transmit information and receive instruction via distributed sensor networks, the sensor pay a vital role in collecting as wide variety of information pertaining to various devices. IoT is a very powerful technology. These smart devices are exposed to a wide number of vulnerabilities which has resulted in data and privacy risks

This mindset will result in distrust among the users ultimately impacting the scale of adoption and usability of the tech. we need to explore some more pressing security issues in IoT and how industries are trying to deal with them.
